A brand new play area will be installed at the Primrose Hill recreation ground later this Spring.

The funding for the equipment was negotiated by Three Rivers, after planning permission was granted for the Ovaltine development. This is in addition to a small play area on the Ovaltine site itself. The remainder of the funding will come from the Parish Council.

The play area will contain equipment for children up to the age of 12. The Parish Council consulted with the School Council at Kings Langley School before purchasing the equipment.

Cllr Richard Laval said: "This is a good example of the two councils working together to get a brand new play area".

The play area will be in use by the end of May.
