Action on Toms Lane fly-tipping

8.27.00pm GMT Wed 21st Mar 2007

After action from Cllr Joy Mann, enforcement action is being taken over fly-tipping on land at the rear of 152 Toms Lane.

Joy said: "The field has been smothered in rubbish, including plastic, builders' rubble and old filing cabinets. It has ruined the view across the Green Belt and may be affecting the adjoining ancient woodland. The council are working to identify the owner of the land and I am pressing for swift action here".

Three Rivers Council have served a Planning Contravention Notice and are seeking to establish full ownership of the site.
