Councillors Chris Whately-Smith and Martin Trevett tried to save The Limes from destruction

Local councillors have been saddened by the recent demolition of the historic The Limes building in Hunton Bridge.

Three Rivers opposed the building being knocked down, but this was allowed on appeal by a planning inspector.

Cllr Chris Whately-Smith said, "This is such a pity. The old building made a real contribution to the historic area of Hunton Bridge".
