Gallows Hill vegetation to be cut back

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 20th Jun 2007

After a request from Cllr Matthew Bedford, the County Council have arranged for the cut-back of vegetation on the bank by the pavement on the eastern side of Gallows Hill, between Gallows Hill Lane and Abbots Road junctions (by the bus stop).

There had been some question as to whether the bank is part of the highway land or the adjacent private properties, but the County Council have now agreed that it is part of highways land.
