Public consultation on Leavesden Country Park

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Thu 5th Jul 2007

Three Rivers are holding a public consultation on Leavesden Country Park, off College Road, to give residents a chance to help the council develop a management plan for the site. The management plan, due to be implemented in the autumn, will look at improving the maintenance of the site and prioritising improvements.

Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst said, "This is a real opportunity for local people to say what they would like to see in the park. I urge all residents to get involved in the future of their park".

The consultation takes place at Woodlands YMCA until 31st July, during opening hours. After that, comments can be made on the Three Rivers web site at www.threerivers.gov.uk or sent to Peter Brooker at Three Rivers District Council, Northway, Rickmansworth, Herts WD3 1RL.
