Joy takes up college parking issues

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Sun 28th Oct 2007

Cllr Joy Mann is taking up various problems caused by a minority of students attending the new West Herts College site in the Home Park Link Road.

Joy is particularly keen to address the issue of parking, both where it is a danger and where it has become a nuisance to local residents.

Overflow parking from both the college and the station is regularly preventing the collection of rubbish from houses in Station Road and the Ovaltine Estate. Residents are also concerned that emergency vehicles may not be able to gain access.

At Joy's request, the whole of this area is being reviewed by Three Rivers during the year and residents will be contacted to ask for their views.
