New planning application for Water Lane site12.00.00am GMT Mon 29th Oct 2007 A new planning application has been submitted for the site at 16 Water Lane. The application involves the demolition of the existing house and warehouse and erection of four semi-detached residential dwellings and associated access, landscaping and parking. A previous application to erect six houses on the site was refused. The reasons for refusal included overdevelopment of the site, effect on existing residents, parking, garden sizes, highways safety and flood risk.
