Action on hazardous parking in Greenways

12.00.00am GMT Sun 25th Nov 2007

After a request from Cllr Matthew Bedford, Greenways has been moved up Three Rivers' priority list for parking restrictions. The main problem is parking around the bend in Greenways by parents dropping off and picking up for Tanners Wood School. This can be dangerous for other children walking to school and for other road users.

Cllr Matthew Bedford said "I am pleased that the Council re-assessed Greenways. The photographic evidence provided by residents was a great help in convincing council officers to understand the level of the problems and I thank them for their assistance." Local residents and the school will be consulted before any work goes ahead.
